Russia has no right to decide who Ukraine allies itself with, and Russia has been a belligerent wrecking ball to all of its neighbours that aren’t either in NATO or effectively a Russian puppet. It did the same thing to Moldova before Ukraine, and it did the same thing to Georgia before Moldova. You know which countries Russia hasn’t touched? All of the ones that joined NATO.
And don’t spout that bullshit line about NATO bordering Russia. NATO has bordered Russia for over 20 years without Ukraine. 25 years if you include Kaliningrad.
Sweden supporting Ukraine in this war is not a new thing and pre-dates Swedish NATO membership by years. It’s the other way around: Sweden joined NATO because of Russia
and russia invaded ukraine because of nato.

and we have no right to do a lot of the things we do in the interest of national security-- but we do.
Right, cool, so are you going to get equally indignant if countries try to defend themselves against that?
not as indignant as you get when you’re confronted with an argument you want to rationalize away without acknowledging any truth within.
What kind of nonsense reply is this? I’ve addressed everything you’ve said clearly and directly. What “truth” do you think I haven’t responded to?
the truth that this all happened because of nato expansionism.
Then I refer you back to what I said the first time. Russia has no right to a sphere of influence. No country does. Do you disagree wth that?
