Wondering if I’m even looking forward to TNA at all now. Not to signal that I have virtues or anything but this Tessa business has left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.
If they had done this a year or two ago, I wouldn’t have liked it but I would’ve been more inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt that they knew what they’re doing and it’s a genuine redemption arc. But the timing of this makes it look more like they’re doing this because they just don’t have to pretend to care anymore.
Plus, maybe I’m making false connections but with all of the wrestlers, including TNA diehards, that have just left without a word, it really does seem like something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
Thinking I might take a break for a couple of weeks and reset, look for something else. Just not sure what yet.

Access depends but I cannot recommend the Japanese side of pro wrestling enough!
I’ve definitely not got anything against Japanese wrestling. Watched NJPW for a little while a few years ago. Although one of the main things I watch pro wrestling for is the storylines and larger than life characters, more so than workrate (although there’s nothing wrong with technical masterpiece matches either). And I also appreciate women’s wrestling.
If I could find both of those aspects, plus I didn’t have to watch 5 shows a week and follow social media accounts, I’d be happy to try anything from any country. TNA was basically just the easiest option that offered all of this.
TNA’s Crazy Steve apparently did a dark match for AEW last night, which went over well!
If Elijah Burke was in AEW, we could have Pope vs. Cope.
Hey all! New here. I basically just watch AEW. I stopped following SC on Reddit because of the tribalism. I hope it’s a bit more chill here. I’ve been a wrestling fan for about 20 years now. Excited to be on Lemmy and talking wrestling again!
