fat monk condescends to emaciated serf: “fill your heart with god’s love and he shall bestow upon you all the riches becoming to you!”

or worse, the journalist is also living paycheck to paycheck and is in the slop mines to keep themselves from being evicted from a broom closet

    or it’s just chatgpt

who the fuck even knows anymore

This reminds me of the ‘simple living’ people on Youtube who tell you a story about how they quit their job and opened up a veggie farm in the middle of nature. What they don’t tell you is that they are now professional youtube stars who rent out expensive AirBnB’s to city folks to make big money.

I mean I agree streaming platforms are lousy and take two years between seasons of shows to keep you paying without any worthwhile content, just uh learn how to sail the seas and maybe subscribe to one if they have a ton of content you like that you find yourself watching many times a month.

And do so quickly. Hard drive prices are going to go up bigly once Trump slaps his ridiculous tariffs on everything. Right now you can get set-up without a backup for a thousand movies, several dozen TV shows for the cost of a mini-PC to host a NAS drive and a NAS drive for ~$150-$200 which is just under the cost of a single ad-free streaming service for a year. (Hint: refurbished enterprise hard drives from free-standing online sites not ebay or amazon).
