Let’s start with that the mod of this sub, ramos, a 2 days old user, banned me because of “Spam and scam”, when I asked for sources + I said “Hi I’m Taylor Swift, nice to meet you”.

Even when an another user comments " Can you please stop titling all your posts “BREAKING:”, its incredibly clickbaity." comment gets removed for being scam.

I wouldn’t even comment on his post, if he did provide a source or something that can validate what he posts, but posting images with “BREAKING” in capitals and some photo with text on it and no source, it looks like a facebook or twitter misinformation thing.

And I ask you now PTB, YDI, YDM, BPR or CLM?

      .world in particular has a rabid boot licker problem. I really don’t think that cesspool should be federated. I cannot manually block all their users.

            We have some dogshit communities but the instance isn’t closed and registration is not vetted. There’s maybe three or four communities anyone could block without requiring defederation.

            The worst parts have zero loyalty or connection to the instance. They’re just as ready to operate out of piefed or another instance, and typically do so already.

              Almost every time I go to block someone for being the kind of vile piece of irredeemable shit even I can’t talk to¹, its @Lemmy.world²

              I’m not sure I’ve ever thought ‘fuck yeah!’ Or ‘I think this person is so cool!’ about a .world user.

              ¹some of my favorite people to talk with at various points in my life include: the playground psychopath who had special nice tweezers reserved for pulling wings off flies, my methhead uncle’s methhead neighbor, a pedophile, a serial killer, several edgelord humanities professors, a borderline/nascent nazbol. I swear to fuck these fucking turbolibs are genuinely worse to interact with than Nazis, and I include the times when Nazis have been holding weapons and circling me calmly calling me slurs.

              ²5/7 on this account, which is a lower proportion than I’d expect.

              If I had to choose a group to not exist from between liberals and open Nazis, open Nazis poof out every time, but I genuinely find them less infuriating intransigent and personally offensive when they talk.

              And I’m an open queer who tends towards they/them pronouns. Those fuckers want me dead.

                Hexbear is, but I only joined recently.

                before that I was just in general lemmy, which actually defed from hexbear and lemmygrad. obviously, my opinions have changed and my politics have shifted, i frankly cant in good conscience interact or look at it anymore, it may have good people but i simply disagree with far too many things, it feels the only thing in common is them being on a spectrum of pro lgbtq and vaguely supporting palestine (but not the forces that prevent the genocide)

    If I where to give the benefit of the doubt…

    We have here a new account creating a new comm that looks to be aimed at democratic support.

    It could well be an alt of someone who’ve been around here for a while and engaged with the tankie flank of the fedi prone to attacking anything positive about the Democrat party and is a bit quick on the trigger trying to keep their new comm from being besieged.

    CLM/PTB.

    Looking at one of the paragraphs in google, it seems that it’s the same text (without reviewing those shitty social media links) that a posted by a Twitter[1] and Facebook[2] accounts called Occupy Democrats.

    IMO, your comment was not friendly, but removing it and banning you for it is not justified, and it’s not in their community rules[3]. Maybe @Ramos@sh.itjust.works could clarify it.

    BTW, This is the second post[4] here in a short time about that small community.
