I’m not going to bother to downvote pseudofeminist slop, but:
Feelings have no gender
Feminists have invested a lot of effort into communicating to men that certain experiences and feelings thereof can only be understood by those who have undergone those experiences: emotions are absolutely gendered. To understand this very real difference is a good thing, even if it reinforces a gender binary which is largely performative.
This post is just slop. It’s so basic online feminists can feel like they’re Doing Something about Men’s Mental Health.
I don’t think men need flowery reminders of the way some women would prefer to imagine (read: hallucinate) masculine emotional needs.
I am presenting you with ideas which challenge you and your assumptions about how men and women can best help men, and your response is an offensive and weak insult. When I say man up I don’t mean feel less, I mean modulate your emotions like a damn adult.
I meant what I said and it wasn’t intended as an insult.
That’s stupid and you can’t expect me to believe that.
Look we’re at a point in time where men are struggling and the body of thought around feminism is adapting to the challenge, poorly.
You need to be able to talk about that without overreacting histrionically, telling me what you imagine to be wrong with me personally instead of considering what I have to say.

Man up and don’t complain about downvotes.
🙄
Performative?
If you don’t recognize it in yourself, how can you see it in others?
yes, I perform a critical masculine ethos, so what?
I’m sorry your mom/girlfriend didn’t validate your feelings at a key point in your development, bud.
… pathetic. Man up.

My emotions are modulated. You’re the one that seems to be struggling here. I meant what I said and it wasn’t intended as an insult.
like yes I’m reacting in kind so I’m imprecise; I believe you meant what you said, but you’re stupid if you think you aren’t lashing out at me.

You asked why it’s getting downvotes.
