it’s a very sad story with people behaving as stupid as i thought people only do in movies. the poisoned person knew he would die and several people didn’t believe him, held him down and tried to calm him down instead of calling the poison hotline or an ambulance right away.

there is zero reason not to believe there is an emergency, when someone says so, because worst case you called an ambulance for a person just totally freaking out, which can also be a symptom of a mental problem that needs attention.
