And to the person that decide to stick the battery down that well I hate you, I hate you so much.

It took me hours to remove the adhesive from behind it and pry the battery out even with a bit of heat. I felt like I was gonna break my deck honestly but luckily it’s pretty dang tough.

If you decide to replace the battery on your deck, be prepared for a non fun time.

But I’m grateful the repair itself is honestly pretty simple if frustrating and I thank valve for that.
