Breaking: The Indian army has accidentally shot down the planet Venus and it will be crash landing in the Himalayas in 30 minutes
From all this paranoia about drones lately, I’ve learned that apparently there are a number of humans who’ve never looked up at the night sky before.
Well, you can’t see the stars from a lot of places. I live in a small town here, but I’m surrounded by large industrial cities that are always very well lit. It’s very rare to see the stars because the bright city lights outglow them. Unfortunately, light pollution is a real problem.
I think the first time I actually saw a full starry sky was on vacation in an area far away from any cities. I was almost 20.
I was in my early teens in a remote NE part of Poland. I haven’t seen colors in the sky ever since.
Don’t feel too bad. I’m 41 and I’ve never seen the colors of the band of our galaxy.
I remember famously that during the blackout of New York in 2003, 911 took a number of calls from concerned citizens that were strange lights in the sky. They were stars.
Yiiikes
I mean… at my house I can hardly see the stars anymore :(
If only humanity had been mapping those moving lights for the last MANY centuries… Maybe there would have been some reference material they could have checked within the first MONTH or two.
Like, idk, a telescope or something to make sure it isn’t drone even if they can’t see the planet itself.

Hang on, this is the plot of the Expanse
I’m too lazy to write that “Trust no one, not even yourself” meme, except with planet Earth.
That’s no moon
Music plays
This is incredibly common for even professionals from what I’ve heard.
It’s true. Remember how Pluto used to be to a planet? Well it was… right up until I shot that sum bitch.
On clear nights, in areas without light pollution, planets can look huge and bright like an airplane or helicopter.
I guess the real question is, why would a spy plane have its lights on?
Happened to me quite often when I was on lookout on a ship. Once the commander heard it and took out his phone to show me the current location of the planets. I head mistaken the low-orbit Venus for something artificial through NV and binos. That damn planet is blinking red and green
Far from the first time something like this has happened
so india will attack Musk for being a Mars agent? Is that a NATO trigger for funny things between 2 nuke nation?
Wait til they find out about the Earth
