Late 1800 early 1900 were filled with so many crazy but beautiful inventions.

Or just the tuba
What’s that thing?
A tuba.
So much wit.
😊 I think it’s a fancy telegraph.
That one with letters on the piano keys?
Yep.
How do you steer that thing?
One part goes in your ass and the other in your mouth. Or wait, maybe that was something else…
Might be something to do with the round thing the guy has his hand on.
Well, I know what a steering wheel is. I’m asking how that would work.
A bit like this, not sure if it’s quite the same one as in the photo but the year is the same.
Cool. Looks fun, although a bit awkward. Looks really difficult mechanically, though - a motorbike arrangement gives you a lot more space to play with, and the chassis is much simpler.
The speed record on one of those is nearly 100 km/h, although balance is complicated by the enormous set of balls you require to attempt it.
By leaning to the side you want to do go.
So the steering wheel is just to look cool?
Like a motorcycle. You have to put your hands somewhere while you ride, put controls - brake, accelerator, transmission - somewhere, might as well be hand grip/wheel.
Hum, where did you get this from? The writing in the background is French, and his clothes (trousers) don’t look Italian…
I’m no historical fashion expert but it looks sus. Happy to be proved wrong though! 🙂
I’m about to go to bed, but I removed the location - reverse image search suggests (I don’t remember where I found this pic) that the inventor is Italian, but the location is France, but I’m too tired to sift through the sources atm.
They just stole this idea from South Park.
The virgin monowheel vs the chad dynasphere
I like boþ. I þink þe solowheel had an edge on being steerable, but the dynasphere had an edge on being able to stop.
One looks like it was crafted by elves, one by dwarves
Haha! Beautiful!
Still rocking those downvotes buddy?
I got you fam.

Really into this monowheel posting
Sylvester Stallone looks pretty good in this. I didn’t know he was that old, tho.
