      It’s a guilty pleasure for me. To make ends neat at some points I’d collect people’s subway vouchers that they threw out on garbage day and walk up to Subway with 5 half-off coupons or the buy one get one free. Get some actual five-dollar footlongs instead of a kings ransom for some shitty sandwiches.

    I do really genuinely wonder what’s worse for disabled.

    Does the disabled in England get less in income to make up for the benefits (not that would be a good thing, just wondering)? Americans received almost no safety net, but certain cases can be evaluated differently? It seems like the culture in England is far more toxic, because Jesus even in America you aren’t getting turned out of Subways for being blind.

      The culture against the disabled in the UK is extremely toxic. Disabled people have literally starved to death when their benefits get stopped, then get victim blamed by the media for not trying harder to get help. And that is just the tip of the iceberg.
