The next big upgrade to Apple’s mobile devices could be foldability, according to multiple reports published Sunday. According to The Wall Street Journal,
Screw that, I want them to work like Earth: Final Conflict. Don’t fold, roll up into a handle that also contains the camera and other non-screen bits. No crease if it never creases.
It even had portrait and landscape modes based on how much of it you pulled out. Portrait mode shown above.
I loved this idea at the time but… that roll out screen would just break on every use. That and I doubt people would want a two handed user experience. Plus, how would you text?
Until they work like in Westworld, I’m gonna hold off.
