Obviously this is somewhat subjective, but I’ve had a lot of problems in my previous attempts to switch to Linux, so I’d like to create a list of distros to try out, and see what works for me. I’m mostly expecting to be doing basic office work and light gaming via Steam.
I like Debian, it works pretty much on all servers in our company, but I do use openSUSE at home. Main reason is it has dumb-proof snapper built in. When I fuck something up, it’s easy to go back to previous working state. But since I like Debian, I put Debian wallpaper on :-D
