    Not a good thought to have. But I am kind of thinking that the Kurds in Rojava might need to really be ready to deal with (just straight up kill) the ISIS prisoners that they have been left forced to keep since all the nations from which many of them came from have refused to take back. If those fighters are allowed to get out, shit will be a bloodbath (especially the female Kurds). Which given how Israel and western powers have been using right-wing groups to keep the region destabilized. I can only guess that keeping such concentrated numbers of ISIS in the area is the plan if the current groups fail.

      Recent world events have shown how correct Stalin was in deciding what to do when you face an existential threat. The purges were unfortunate but I also believe without them I’m sure exponentially more Soviet citizens would have died.
