who is bottom right?
Rhodesia, an apartheid state neighboring South Africa during the Cold War, who fought Zimbabwe in the hopes of upholding apartheid.
They lost the war, and were absorbed entirely into Zimbabwe.
In his book, Trevor Noah ranked Cecil Rhodes up there with the likes of Hitler or Pol Pot. Once you know the history, it’s a fair take.
thank you
There was a certain Reddit community that would meme the Rhodesian short shorts + FAL rifle getup. Back then thought it was good fun but later learned that most of it was probably a racist dog whistle I did not understand.
Dude I ran into a guy on Reddit who was a full on Rhodesia stan. Going on and on about how they were just on the verge of giving black people rights, and how the revolution wasn’t necessary lol.
Rhodesia is a massive dog whistle, those people are 100% serious. Now days the dog whistle is “Agartha” and anytime you hear people memeing about that they are white supremacists as well.
Agartha
Thule energy
I mean, the look is certainly a vibe, but I also believe the cure for unrehabilitatable racism is a bullet, so 🤷♂️
I’ve mostly just got a soft spot for big guns made of wood and steel
They had a camo so effective the country can’t be seen on a map
There’s several historic examples missing here. Apparently being high on your own supply of nationalism doesn’t bode well historically. Who could’ve guessed that grossly exaggerating your own abilities tends to hit the wall of “unrealistic expectations” sooner rather than later?
Rule #4, I know you heard this before…
Sore losers, too. There’s always some bitch that won’t shut up about excuses and whining and “waa, let me cosplay this shit and pretend it’s an alternate universe where they didn’t lose.”
What is the flag in upper right?
Imperial Germany

Seems they won a few…
Come now, colonial wars hardly count!
Is France a colony?
Franco-Prussian War was Prussia/the North German Confederation until like, the last two weeks.
but also yesYeah, but unification was a goal of the war in a sense, so I would count them.
