And then there’s just a specific feeling you get when you’re sitting outside at 9:39 p.m. underneath a waxing moon with mostly clear visibility of the sky and a blue meteorite falls across the west south-western sky for a fraction of the second before it turns yellow and then just completely disappears just before it reaches the white oak tree behind the Johnson’s house where a family of wood ducks nested 3 springs back until a nest of honey bees moved into the hole they were using.
