Two psychologists are warning that President Donald Trump’s frequent confusion and mounting physical issues may be pointing to something more troubling than just aging. On their podcast Shrinking Trump, psychologists John Gartner and Harry Segal argued that the 79-year-old president is showing both physical and linguistic symptoms of what they call “early dementia.”

Dubbya proportedly abdicated a ton of responsibility.

With the Patriot Act in full effect, we really have no idea what was going on.

I don’t think that was dementia. Profoundly stupid, yes, but that’s different.

What if trump is just the monkeys paw fulfillment of “I wish George Bush weren’t the dumbest fucking president in American history”?

Dubya wasn’t stupid. He wasn’t unusually intelligent, but not stupid either. He played the good ol’ boy to keep the rubes on his side, but had excellent recall of people he’d met years before while campaigning, and of conversations he’d had with them. And he could usually keep up with briefings without requiring them to be reduced to Garfield levels of imbecility. Dubya also inherited his father’s dyslexia, and his tendency to mangle spoken language.

Trump, on the other hand, has always been dumb as a bag of hammers, and his dementia-induced confabulation is obviously worsening.
