Definitely not by hand. There used to be things called pen plotters before printers and 3D printers that everyone seems to be unaware of. An X, Y stage with a pen attached. Replace with a brush. But since those are so rare these days it’s likely a repurposed cnc router rather than a repurposed 3D printer so can fit larger canvas

Probably a 3d printer with the nozzle replaced with a paintbrush could do the job. Maybe a tube through the center of the handle to supply paint.
