It’s been a while since I remembered to post this! I’m so bad at this stuff 😖
Introduced my family to Cascadia and Azul. They never knew that board games could be so relaxing and fun (they only knew about monopoly.
This Saturday we had some friends from the board game group over, and I showed them my copy of Kelp, because it’s just a 2p game, I watched them play from the shark side, as I have no poker face for this game. They really enjoyed it!
After that we played Coffee Rush, it’s a great game to play with 4 people because you get lots of coffee orders and the game goes really fast! it was a blast.

@FrankCavil coincidentally, we got busy with #saboteur, too. My trick as a host is stressing the rule that assigns fewer points if you are sitting far away from the player concluding the round (clockwise). This allows innocent miners to also pose as saboteurs, just to ensure the player to their left doesn’t play the last card.
It’s one of the rules making the game so unique in its genre, but people usually never learn it.
Finally finished Star Wars: Unlock! with gf
Somehow the last scenario was a lot easier than the previous two
Not sure yet if I should suggest playing it with friends or just sell it
For me it seemed that on that box they considered the narrative above the puzzles. As a narrative game its not that bad since you replay the famous scenes. But as a escape room if felt a bit lacking
That’s probably why the vendor mentioned it wasn’t quite an Unlock game, but rather a Star Wars light escape room game!
