Where: Pathways to Power AND Rally @ Boston Common—Proudly display your amazing signs, flags (no poles, please!), and your most creative protest attire as you make your way to Boston Common from 1-2 p.m. Let’s show the world what patriotism really looks like by filling the sidewalks. Consider getting off the T a few stops early to extend this visibility walk! 2-4 p.m. Rally @ Boston Common.

When: 1-4pm (1-2 Pathways to Power march, 2-4pm Boston Common)

Anyone have good sign ideas? I was considering just listing people murdered by ICE. Something I read claimed connecting potential dictators’ actions with overthrowing democracy was a key, so maybe quoting Anne Frank or drawing comparisons to Stalin/Hitler.

At this point, the ongoing “No Kings” protests just prove to the fascists in charge that they have nothing to fear from peaceful opposition showing up in large numbers.

The protests aren’t just ineffective, they actively embolden the administration by demonstrating that no real opposition exists.

The French are better at protest and revolution—we need their help.

In case you’re poorly informed and not just outright opposition:

These protests are working towards that critical 3% - 4% of the NATIONAL population goal, basically a critical mass of resistance. We have to work with reality. The USA is not France. The people of this country are deeply divided. What works in France works because that is France. There have been 2 national No Kings protests, and there was exponential growth between them.

To call these protests ineffective is, frankly ignorant. It demonstrates that you do not understand the purpose (i.e. working towards a singular, large, nationwide protest involving 3% - 4% of the country), or the additional benefits of these types of protests in terms of building solidarity. Do you even attempt to inform yourself on the matter? It’s okay if you don’t, just kind of sad to see someone so adamantly against people trying to make a difference and I’m close to being of the opinion that with “friends” like this, who needs enemies.

      “we need their help.”

We can’t help you grow some balls.
Another problem with your awful country is most desire no more than to go back to the situation it was before.
An awful imperialist warmongering country that also put kids in cages and deported (even more) poor people.
Only difference, they didn’t bother the white americans.
      So no.

Darn, France said “no”. They were so helpful back in our first revolution…

They were imperialists helping you figh imperialists competing with them. Who knew you would turn out to become the worst imperialists on the planet.
It’s better for the planet if you were gone. ASAP

              I’m not French, Belgian.
But it could be the opinion of pretty much anywhere in the world.

Probably had to look it up since you barbarians probably don’t know where Belgium is
