I wish they hadn’t done the initial Rick Flag reveal in the opening and he just showed up at ARGUS. We could have saved the Rick/Harcourt relationship opener for a different episode.
Although Harcourt must know about Peacemaker killing Rick, so is that what is ultimately holding her back? Peacemaker killed her only friend, even if it was “the job” she just can’t get past it.

Future speculation
Universe 2 is a white supremacy haven. I saw the theory in a recent Nando v Movies video and it seems to line up.
Universe 2 didn’t have any black people as far as I could tell. I’m guessing in this universe Peacemaker’s father won and together with his son made the US whites only.
The “terrorists” Peacemaker killed this episode were likely fighting an oppressive white supremacist government.
It looks like next episode Adebayo is going into Universe 2 and I expect she’ll quickly notice the problem (or someone will quickly point it out).
