Greek underworld/Hades felt bullshit. I thought it was hades, looked it up, saw/remembered it was the god of the dead, and then racked my brain trying to think of the actual name. The alternative I had failed to remember was Tartarus, which is also a god/place hybrid, for a specific part of greek underworld (hell, basically). Kinda my bad.
The tense at a birthday party one stumped me. “present” is a bad pun for it.
L for Caesar was also annoying, but I got it after the shades clue presented itself. I was thinking about “stabbed, brutus” and similar.
I got stuck for a bit on the last one and thinking the exact same possible answers as well.
