By 8 months in he had already begun a slow strategic withdrawal from Iraq and helped negotiate disarmament with Iran, alongside 6 other nations who wished for Iran disarmament. Although after Obama received his prize Iran talked about producing more enriched Uranium again in November and the Nuclear Disarmament deal wasn’t signed until 2015.
The fact that Trump dismantled the treaty just goes to show, again, that it’s not something anyone could do.
Really nice of Trump to prove Obama really did earn his prize fairly by showing how next to impossible it is to sleaze your way in.
Let’s not fool ourselves. Obama got it after less than a year in the presidency, with drone strikes killing civilians still.
