I’m super excited to announce my latest #iPhone #application that I built. It’s called @echo@mstdn-social.com for @LemmyDev@mastodon.social. It is an application for #Lemmy, which is a #decentralized social network for posting news, questions, and much more. It is very similar to #Reddit, but much more open and community-driven. Check it out today! #fediverse #activitypub #ios
@fishcharlie@mstdn-social.com @echo@mstdn-social.com @LemmyDev@mastodon.social what countries is it available in? can’t see it in UK App Store
@iriepixel@front-end.social @echo@mstdn-social.com @LemmyDev@mastodon.social Sadly only US and Canada currently. Need to look into UK more. I think UK should be possible, but still working on compliance with the EU Digital Services Act. Need to determine if the UK is subject to that act.
@iriepixel @fishcharlie @echo @LemmyDev Same in Switzerland. If it has just been released in App Store Connect it might take some time to propagate to all of the servers.
@joel @iriepixel @echo @LemmyDev Sadly won’t be available in Switzerland until I can figure out compliance with the EU Digital Services Act. It’s on my todo list tho 🙂.
@fishcharlie@mstdn-social.com @iriepixel@front-end.social @echo@mstdn-social.com @LemmyDev@mastodon.social Does the EU Digital Services Act even apply to Switzerland since it’s not part of the EU. At least Switzerland didn’t get alternative App Stores on iOS, but I’m not a lawyer and haven’t kept up with the details of DMA.
@joel@swiss.social @iriepixel@front-end.social @echo@mstdn-social.com @LemmyDev@mastodon.social Good question. I have the same question about the UK. Will do more research and figure it out. Stay tuned to @echo@mstdn-social.com or the Echo Lemmy page for announcements about this.
