It’s addictive to be at work and watch the progress tick up for VANDALON IV and watching us collectively crush the major order. But it’s giving me serious FOMO when I’m in meetings. Hoping we can crush TROOST tonight and tomorrow! Also the new weapons isn’t helping lol

I hear dedicated helldivers play on pc handhelds like ROG Ally and Legion Go during their breaks. I also hear that on Steam Deck it starts to stutter when enemy count goes up.

Meh, its ran fine on my deck. Does have some issues on startup , looks a little worse, but either the immersion or my brain fills in the rest an it looks fine after a match.

The crashes though. Thankfully not a deck only problem

The only text that matters on that entire site:

“The game master can change these values at any time.”

The only “progress” you’re allowed to experience is an illusion and completely arbitrary. Off the cliffs ya go, lemmings! For Liberty™!

It’s referring to the rate at which contested planets regenerate HP, which represents the proliferation of enemy forces. It adjusts the difficulty of campaigns, and it’s for telling a story, kinda like a TTRPG GM setting the difficulty level of fights.

All hidden variables are changeable at the GM’s whim, per documentation, and yet the checks and balances in place at traditional TTRPG tables (player dissatisfaction, discussion, etc.) are massively blown out of proportion in MMOs — making what, in the former, would be the minimum of a single player’s voice of contention calling the GM’s machinations into question, here in the latter instead require a far larger number of players of similar mind to even be taken seriously, let alone heard above the din of the marketing hype machine and jimmy-tickled fan squeals.

You do you, but I have no interest in playing a reskinned pachinko with some random “expert” behind the board moving the pegs and pretending that alone “tells a story”. I’m here to shoot shit, blow other shit up, and have a laugh. Swallowing a lie with a smile is what the workday is for, not my precious free time, citizen.
