      Oh, how so?

      There are 3.41 million MRT rides a day in 2024. While I don’t know the figures per train, considering personal experience of just how crowded the trains are during peek hours, it seems to be well within the ball park.

        Busses and Trains are not always full. Cars can have more than one passenger.

          How often do cars have more than one person in them during rush hour compared to buses or trains?

          They are during rush hour, they all are, all the way to the very brim. Which is why LTA is being politically pushed to tighten the train frequency ever closer (currently at around 2-3 minutes at peak).

          The counter here is also counting 2 people per car as well.

            Yeah I notice 2 people by car seem high. During rush hour most of car are single person
