    How is it that local business associations are often so myopic about this stuff?

    Like saying that “bike lanes wouldn’t have had any effect on a motorcycle collision”, or that 20 mph speed limits and speed cameras would meaningfully bring about safer driving compared to narrowing the driving lanes.
