Have you hear about fractional reserves? 2008 financial crisis that resulted in zero accountability and tax payer bailouts for the banks? History is plagued with examples on how banking fucked up the plebs. Not to mention half of the world is outside the banking system. At least Bitcoin is money with clear rules engraved in code, no bailouts and accesible for everyone.
