I also like to headcanon something along these lines. I mod !bunnies@lemmy.world and don’t like to imagine that my farmer is hurting them (because how else would you get that?). But I also find the comic funny and don’t feel uncomfortable at all with it, so I guess my sensitivity (well maybe it’s just a preference?) works weirdly.
