    This confuses me. I agree with you that the lbgtqia+ community should be more accepted, but I don’t understand what point you’re trying to convey.

      Pinning the cause of grand movements to vague, minor issues has been a common joke for at least the 50 years of comedy that I’ve been aware of, but particularly after black comedians came to the forefront from the 80s* forward.

      It’s sardonic and pained and disappointed absurdism for the sake of undercutting the anguish that is the reality of the situation. A few very powerful people creating outgroups to ostracize and to steal from.
