Picture taken on a playground somewhere in Hamburg, Germany at almost freezing temperatures with my Canon A1 on Kodak Gold 200. No Idea how this little dude got there. It looks like it’s taking a walk on the film , I think otherwise it wouldn’t be in focus.
Huh? I can’t get my head around the logistics of this. If it were on the lens it wouldn’t be in focus and perhaps not even visible depending on the lens. But if it were walking in the film, you would just see an outline of the bug right? But we see it from the top, with a light source and everything. Even if it were somehow exposed properly, we would see the bottom and not the top? So it’s probably on some internal piece of the camera? And perhaps really really small, but looks larger because it’s close to the film?
Can someone with knowledge of the internals of this specific camera enlighten me as to how this works?
Light source could be a reflection from the backplate and I‘ not sure if we see it from the top, maybe it’s a illusion because we expect the back of a bug to be shiny?

Bug has reflection on it’s shell. My best bet would be that the bug got thrown by something in the air.
How long was this exposure?
It’s also on the adjacent two pictures I took on that day. So it probably didn’t got thrown. Th films runs along a very smooth painted metal plate in the back of the camera, that could explain the reflection.
So the bug is one lucky guy that got an excellent, in focus spot inside the lens.
