Putin now has less of an incentive than ever to cease the war in Ukraine. If he should ever come to decide to abandon his goal of taking over Ukraine. He will leave Russia with less than it ever was (obviously). It will be the single most embarrassing and demoralising act in Russia’s history since the fall of the USSR.

It would be no surprise to if Putin would rather go nuclear than to admit defeat now or ever. So now it leaves me wondering as to how the war is to come to an end. If you ask me as long as Putin does not fall out of a window. It will never end. And even after the fact, it will be the centrepiece of Russian propaganda “We must take back Kursk! Look wat they took from us! We have to blah blah blah.”

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Ukraine hasn’t “taken over Kursk”, they made a small incursion and they’re holding parts of it, and they’re doing it to tie up Russian units on their side of the border. You seem to be assuming that Russia will never be able to dislodge the Ukrainian unit that made this incursion.

Maybe time to stop reading the news for a while, this sort of hysteria can’t be good for you.
