Right now for me, and this may sound weird, but it is the Build A Bear strawberry scent you can get put in your plushie.

Not because I frequently went to the Build A Bear Workshop as a kid. I only recently discovered their strawberry scent as an adult. But as a 2004 kid, the scent reminds me of when I was a kid and I would play with my 2003 era Strawberry Shortcake toys and it had that sweet strawberry scent.

Also, vanilla is always a classic nostalgic for me as well.

But what about you? What’s your favorite nostalgic scent?

I… have to acknowledge I misread this first and it took me hours to realize….

I initially misread BBW as its other common online initialism… and just now realized it was Bath & Body Works… 🤦🏻‍♂️

I mean, no judgment either way, and sometimes I’m slow…

          …Uh OH, Whoopsy-doodle.

My apologies, I probably should have added an ampersand between the B and B.

I grew up in NYC and when I wanted to impress a girl I’d take them to this English soap/scent shop in Rockefeller Plaza called Crabtree & Evelyn at the end of a date and get them like a souvenir scent (soap, incense, whatever). I have no idea why I did this — I guess it just seemed fancy, and some of them really appreciated it. Anyway, long story short, now as an adult a bunch of stodgy British floral scents still make me horny.
