    Um we usually just say trans women for short hand or, you know, women if you dont want to be a dick about it.

      It’s like one of those George Carlin things where they’ve changed the language and completely removed the humanity. Plus, it sounds like a lot of jargon when previously it was more succinct.

      the article is fairly misleading, the BBC articles linked all refer to the women they write about as trans women. yes, in the article they switch this up and also use the ‘biological male identifies as woman’ sentence, which is clearly a poor choice of words and could be done better. but the BBC is not our enemy and maybe a reasonable complaint to the BBC will lead to betterment. this article seems purely motivated to create clicks and anger

        The BBC isn’t our enemy?!

        They have been transphobic for a long time and even had a Whatsapp group leak showing that there were members of the BBC who are very transphobic.

        They also ‘both sides’ any argument against us, when it should not even be an argument we are who we say we are and have a right to exist.

        We don’t understand where you are getting that they aren’t our enemy from.
