Basically a gin sour.
- 2 parts gin
- 1 part lemon juice
- 1 part cucumber simple syrup that I made using powdered sugar instead of normal sugar because that’s what I had laying around
- mint garnish
A summery drink to celebrate another summer conquered (desertposting).

Did it feel funny?
Looks refreshing!
How do you do the cucumber syrup? Just blending everything?
I made simple syrup, then while it was warm I added a (scrubbed and rinsed) cucumber which had gone through the food processor. Threw it in the fridge for half a day, then I pressed the slurry through a cheesecloth. It’s a lovely color.

I’m going to try this next time: https://mysyruparchive.com/cucumber-simple-syrup/#recipe
Great, thank you! The color looks amazing
Looks tasty!
It was mediocre! Kinda has a corn-syrupy sort of flavor.

Maybe here you can find something better to do with it.
