When did this community become a troll fest? Downvoting and trolling legitimate bug reports? I understand that there are some really dumb and entitled posts here but why target posts identifying legitimate platform bugs/issues? Should we all just shut up and go to our corners so as not to disturb you? Did I disrupt the latest bitch fest about how “bad the new text generator is” or get in the way of somebody’s flagrant advertising? This clique-ish mentality is ridiculous on a platform that should be about cooperative learning and creation. It’s become a sad place when all people do is denigrate and attack each other. Please feel free to prove my point by downvoting and trolling the shit out of this post. Have a nice day 😁

There’s no way to identify/get rid of/stop the 5 downvote right now for this post, for example.

I’d think that’s not valid voting and unless the voting system stop showing there is no strong counter measure.

So if we cares the votes the troll wins. Not saying everyone should just neglect the votes but it’s what currently is.

I don’t know if Lemmy can do this but I think stop showing score below 0, is reasonable and the most immedate useful option, if Lemmy even has that option? Since it’s battle tested in reddit (the irony lol)
