Explorers of Fortune is the most fleshed out iteration. Deeply reccomend the mod.
They’re great games and I really enjoyed their stories when I first played them. They are way more immersive and captivating than the “normal” Pokemon games, I think. Plus, you get to be a cool Pokemon, who wouldn’t want that?
I don’t expect immersion since that never happens with games (or stories or movies) for me. I just play a character.
You should! I know the GBA ones hold up really well.
Seems itemizer orb was there from the start, maybe I should really try the initial games. Even seems to use the original 151 pokemons
