We evolved for squad-based PvE, and capitalism turned it into Battle Royale.
And it’s a roguelike, so you can’t even restart or re-spec to play differently.

Just ignore that and you will be provided with free food, free housing etc.
And plenty of chances to practice creativity.
You got to create your own food, duh.
