I’d never heard of the brand, which started in 1797. They’re out of Barcelona, and there are modern ads so they appear to still exist. I’m not sure we have it on this side of the pond, but maybe someone who knows more will comment.

They still look just like this. The tins are nice to keep, they have shops all over the city.
That first advertisement is especially beautiful! I’ve got a few prints in similar style around my home. Always nice to see more art deco style prints!
I don’t know, man, but I love this style. What’s it called?
This is like Chat Noir.
Art nouveau, the most famous guy being Alphonse Mucha. He even did stained-glass: https://www.muchafoundation.org/en/gallery/browse-works/object/199 or https://www.czechleaders.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/2_Mucha.jpg.
But almost at the same time (well, 1900 to 1930) they did Art deco which was the “modern equivalent” (a sequel) for architecture and buildings, like the entrance of the Rockefeller Center (https://artandtheology.org/2024/08/09/art-deco-wisdom-sculpture-at-rockefeller-center/). Another article focusing on Paris but I’m sure most big cities have their own: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_Nouveau_in_Paris
IIRC, you can see some of those buildings’ styles in the TV show Hercule Poirot with David Suchet (great show).
Weird times but fucking amazing IMHO.
Wow! That guy’s play posters are amazing.
Enjoy his other work, for sure! He’s been one of my faves forever, and I’ve a full-sleeve in his style (+Klimt) that I’m proud to wear. 🤩
Beats me. We’ll need an art aficionado to chime in. But some of their modern packaging, boxes and wrappers and such, is also not plain.

I’ll admit to seeking these out when I first visited Barcelona. Like a geeky kid, so full of wonder for the tiny victories in making that a reality, like plucking something out of a book and into my hand. Also, quite delicious. 😉
I’m guessing these were made by a local Catalan illustrator who was influenced by Mucha?
