Finally someone talks about how captured academia has become. By now the infiltration of the media is common knowledge (at the very latest after the media’s complicity in the Gaza genocide), but it’s still almost taboo in (liberal)-leftist circles to point out how deeply infiltrated academia is, as if the right wing talking point about “left wing academia” or “Marxist professors” was even remotely true and not the exact opposite for the most part. And this is not new either.
This was already the case during the cold war. Students may be prone to radicalism but the academic establishment is deeply bourgeois, liberal and imperialist.
Yeah it was really refreshing to see this all laid out plainly.
