War economy presumes you can actually manufacture stuff.
That is true; I had that thought after I posted this. I don’t know where most of our war industry manufactures its parts and it seems like it’d be a huge security risk to have it manufactured elsewhere, but hey, these decisions are decided by capital gains and not long term planning so ig they would be outsourced.
