    Reading this again, I have to admit I don’t fully agree with this quote, in the sense that I couldn’t claim that “nonviolent disruption is society’s best defence against injustice”. I could easily say something like its a warning system, but definately not the “best”.

    Still, I do believe that non-violent disruption can be a useful part of the “tool-box” for change in a society, and sometimes a stepping-stone.

      Agreed. “Best” is certainly subjective, and it likely depends on your goals. If you’re trying to achieve as much as possible but with the least amount of harm to your side, it might be the best tool. If you’re trying to get things done as quickly as possible, there are more expedient but risky methods.
