Not sure if this is what they were going for, but there’s been some real thought put into how to protect future generations from problems we create that can last a long time, like nuclear waste:
I mean, they kind of do in a sense, the isotope of plutonium that a lot of nuclear weapons use is generated by nuclear reactors and must be extracted from used nuclear fuel in order to obtain it.

Honestly, kind of surprised our governments haven’t come to the same conclusion of what to do with it: use it as a weapon against enemies.
