I’ve looked into it. Indeed, they make sense in the context of the USA (I’m french). It’s weird that in such a presumably powerful country, church and state are not separated, and that people have to rely on creating an organization perceived as religious to defend their rights under the cover of freedom of religion. So, the satanic temple is some kind of loophole in quite a fucked-up system. I wish them good luck.
