    The issue isn’t they exist. It’s hiding information from guardians. That shouldn’t be legal. Parents need to make informed decisions for minors.

            Worked in law enforcement for many years. I saw exactly zero cases of it. I have yet to find a study that disputes my experience. Do you have a study that shows this is such a rampant problem that the laws should be changed to ignore the rights of parents?

              See, the problem here is we’re coming from two different perspectives. I view children as human beings worthy of consideration, you view them property of their parents and it’s the parents’ right to do whatever they want with their property, including denying needed medical care. There’s no sense continuing this conversation. We won’t see eye to eye on any facet of it. Goodbye.

                I never said they were property. Parents are responsible for their children. Nobody is talking about denying medical care. We are talking about keeping secrets from parents so they can’t make good choices for their children. Children are children under the law because they can’t make good decisions. That is why we have guardians to make decisions for them.
