I have a family (and friends) who just invite themselves when I’m having a party, so am not used to having to specifically invite people. One of my sisters in law used to complain she wasn’t invited, so I did call to invite her but when I did specifically invite her she always declined.

She didn’t actually want to GO to the party, that’s why she wasn’t going to them, she just wanted to be invited. Everyone else wanted to go to the party but didn’t care about being specifically invited, as they just assumed they were welcome and showed up.

Y’all saying people uninvited you, that is crazy, I would not want to go to any event with cliquey people like that, WTF?
