Yes they are its true. The main developer created the original freenet I think. Ian Clarke. Its very interesting, although I do get confused. Tor Lokinet, Freenet, Usenet, I2P etc. I need to figure out what’s going on.

What do you think of freenet.org ?

Legend.

Convinced the 5 important ones. I’m not popular. It was hard work. Gotta start somewhere.

Honestly, just migrate to simplex. It has accounts down. Create how ever many. Solves phone stalking as well.

Ah too bad you didn’t like nix. I was just about to propose a simple home-manager repo which could at least declare your tooling across any distro.

while I don’t understand the git problem, since versioning your OS/tooling is a major feature not a headache, you seem too have found a place with debian so go ahead.

yup

Agree

Go penguin!

O.o

Hey Thanks. I didn’t know any of that.

you got a point. Also I think that they get bought of either way, so why not safe a little on their salary ;)

I’m in the same boat. I think its a legit reason for someone to avoid nix unfortunately. Do you know of any efforts to mitigate this? Besides having reviews …

Yeah, I was about to “sign” until I had to provide the data which we sign to not have to provide. Great. I mean I get it, but feels weird still

I talked to one of the contributors at Linuxtage Chemnitz and he explained that there seems to be special interest from manufacturers not having any more windows support for machines that still run perfectly fine. Just fyi.

NixOS anyone? NGL I envy based Debian ppl who just focus on work and not get lost in the distrowars. Good week to all :)
