My wife and kid have had many dreams with me in it as I have had many dreams with them in it.
I have had three or four co-workers tell me I was in their dreams.
I don’t attach any importance to dreams. They are just random shit that bounces around in my head. I have the classic, what I call anxiety dreams. I can’t crawl across the road and a car is coming. I am in a final I never studied for.
Practically: Nothing.
It does ensure his name get highlighted in history text.

Like I said I didn’t finish the first season so I don’t have a complete opinion of the show.
The book like all written work has the ability to use unlimited narration. Movies and TV shows have to use it sparingly.
The book is historical fiction so it dedicated a lot of time to the historical aspects of the city the people and what was going on.
The basic story is the same. The shrink and his team are investigating a series of gruesome murders of boy prostitutes. The book does a great job of illustrating how that runs into social issues, the primative nature of police work at that time. The two police who are brothers work a lot on the forensic aspects of the crimes which were either ignored or discounted by police at that time. Also some of the experiments done in the book were just false science and the book explained that.
The show was more focused on the interpersonal relationships of the characters.
The show just didn’t captivate me the way the book did. That may have a lot to do with me reading the book first long before the show was made.
The closet will to a point, but unless the closet is airtight, dust will seep in .
There was a TV show and I never bothered to finish the first season. Didn’t like it at all.
It does not to me.
The only time I prefer reading a physical book is when I am vacationing at the beach. Reading while siting in the sand listening to the surf, and birds is just part of the vacation process.
Prolly because you can’t fap to a bikini top on a fish.

I was absolutely stunned and amazed when Ted Faro revealed what Zero Dawn really was in Horizon Zero Dawn.

The amount of energy spent online about cleaning cast iron skillets blows my mind.

I don’t know if they still do them or not, but Phillip Morris used to do tours of their factory outside Petersburg VA.
I did the tour as part of class I was taking. It was interesting to see how cigarettes were made. One thing the tour guide kept stressing was all these perks and things they did to make the work less boing/miserable for the workers.
As a college kid you are just learning about the world so while I knew people smoked and back then smoking was a lot more in your face.
I really didn’t get how many people smoked until I saw that factory. It was staggering how many cigarettes were in at places and how many that factory churned out daily.
The big box hardware stores, Home Depot and Lowe’s have sort of set the standard. There are a few ID cards that they accept as proof.
At the end of the day it is up to each store how they handle it.
