You guess is correct and I must have just missed or forgot they mentioned it. I also don’t remember the whole part from before he joined the party that betrayed him but it’s been quite a long time since I read the manga beginning.

Even if he didn’t have a choice, like when someone is offered a foul-looking dish to eat by some relative one can’t refuse, he could have shown the slightest bit of hesitation, but there was no hint of that.
Technically not an Isekai, just fantasy.
They seemed to have expanded upon the origin story compared to the manga (not sure about the LN which I’ve not read), and also gave a reason why Light’s gift was not useful until it did.
It would have been better story-wise that Light did not trust Mei right away. Remember he was just betrayed by the party he trusted and Mei was treating him extremely well for no apparent reason. But I guess we can’t expect too much from a power fantasy.
Humorous and educational as ever. TIL keeping a cow as pet is impractical for the typical household.
Yes, I was surprised by its length. I felt like I watched a whole episode of anime by the end.
The source raw manga is on Alphapolis App which I use from time to time so I sort of follow it, so I decide to check out this anime. The animation quality is fine, which is a relief because some other Alphapolis series got not so satisfying adaptations.
I have forgotten the beginning but it is the usual generic isekai. The deity-like being just told the protagonist he’s dead in the real world but he’s not even curious how he died.
Takeru is such so soft-hearted he basically got kicked around by the deity, then the shop keeper, then the dragon and ended up doing errants for them. And it seems Takeru got disliked by the deity of the new realm through no fault of his own. At least he has got almost infinite mana and was given a lot of powerful skills which I guess we’ll see in the future. He should learn to communicate his wishes more clearly though so he does not end up with the wrong kind of “lovely partner” like he apparently did.
“We won’t be able to rebuild the party if I don’t get everyone’s help, from all generations,” she added. “I will scrap my work-life balance and work and work and work and work.”
“scrap work-life balance” doesn’t sound like a correct thing to say for a leader even if referring to oneself.
Elon Smaug
I wonder if economics has anything to do with this trend worldwide. When people have to worry about their next meal every day they tend to get frustrated and finding something or someone to blame, rightly or wrongly,is a way to vent that frustration.
With more and more wealth concentrating at the top 1% it stands to reason that the population that feels frustrated is increasing quickly.
Yes, piefed 1.2 just released, piefed.zip might have upgraded.
Would they explode like pagers?
Why was there no mention from Steam that they have belatedly sent out the emails? Were the people who wishlisted the game still not notified? This is no way to fix a issue.
The problem seemed to have fixed itself today. I see an update for voyager is available in browser but I have not updated yet, still on 2.39.2. I don’t see any update on iOS app store, but 2.39.2 is working.
There was no announcement of change on piefed.zip but perhaps something changed there? I’m not sure. I have not received additional notifications since last time I replied.
EDIT:
I went into dev tools again and it seems piefed.zip did not return 404 this time.

I deliberately did not clear the notifications (I could see them if I use piefed directly but I did not mark them read), I’ve received a few more notifications since then but there has been no change in voyager, still getting the same error consistently.
@aeharding@vger.social It is still occurring. Is there any logs I can collect to help you diagnose this?
Just ran into the same thing on piefed.zip. Happened (still happening) on both PC running browser and iOS app.
It worked fine when I received the last notification 10 hours ago, I don’t think piefed.zip changed their software between then and now.
There are 2 new replies to my post which caused the notification, I can see in developer tools the replies loaded and the json response looked okay at a first glance. Not familiar enough with piefed api to know what the “list” call that got a 404 is for or whether that is a problem.
I believe that is a piece of Star Fruit.
Ha ha, not the worst story that exists but there are definitely tons more better things to use your brain capacity on.
