Well being narrow in the subjects you make can certainly qualify you as a bad artist :3
I do think bikini bottom is sleeping on squidward to a large extent tho
Personally I’m of the mind that as long as you genuinely wanted to create something and express yourself in some way, it’s always good and worthwhile art. Maybe he’s a a fame chaser and self centered, but I also have to imagine being constantly tormented all of the time might make you want to escape and also…be liked. Keep rocking Squidward, your art will always be bold and brash to me.
Tbf like 90% of what I draw could also be called self-portraits, so im not judging squidward, just pointing it out :3

The statue is also what you might call “photorealistic”, to the extent the cartoon universe allows.
I thought the whole point of the show was thinking is bad, work at a minimum wage job, be stupid and happy.
