I hopped in for a bit and the servers were still stable.
We had over 500 players in the shard. I travelled from Pyro to Stanton and everything went fine.
Server FPS was stable at 27.
Some players were still getting caught by the bugs listed out in the bug avoidance thread. Specifically the quantum refuel issue.
Wakapedia-CIG listed out some of the fixes that have been addressed by the Hotfix and this maintenance:
Client
► Fixes for multiple client crashes
► Fix for an issue causing FPS AI to attack downed player corpses instead of the alive players
Server
► Fixes multiple DGS crashes
► Updates to resolve multiple Align and Mine Blocking Issues
► Updates to stop some Align and Mine Exploits
► Fixed an issue causing several medical rooms to be missing from Landing Zone Clinics
Hybrid
► Fixes to massively reduce high hybrid-service pings causing multiple interaction delay and other issues
► Fixes for multiple hybrid-service crashes
► Further updates to help reduce players getting stuck with long load times in the PU
► Updates to help stop players getting stuck with an “Invalid Location ID” black screen upon death
sadly mining and refining is still buggy. :(
Oof, and with the Orbital platforms right now…
I was out salvaging the wreckage around the platforms yesterday with my stealth loadout Vulture and that was working fine. I haven’t checked out mining in 4.1 just yet.
Was it ship, vehicle, or hand mining? I heard that the ROC is usable again at least, but that may be server dependent.
If it’s the issue where the nodes have no collision, I remember reading through a discussion somewhere where a dev mentioned that sometimes the timer for respawning the nodes is offset, so they appear mineable, but you have to wait (probably a lot) longer before they’re actually mineable again.
in regards to mining: any surface deposit (that is before this maintenance patch) just didn’t register/didn’t had any collider which leads to them not be minable. Asteroid mining though works.

yeah that one. if devs know that the timer of the collider and the asset is offset, what hinders them to bring them back in alignment? Shouldn’t be much of a problem?
In frustration I canceled my session today (after the patch) as I tried to sell my refined goods, yet I was hit by the bug that made your SCU Container untractorable and unrecognizable by TDD terminals.
It seems that I will sit out this patch :/
I’m not sure what’s holding them back from fixing the surface deposits. I feel like this is an issue that just keeps resurfacing every now and then.
I don’t think anyone has found a workaround for the stuck SCU containers at this point.
They marked this issue as “fixed” yesterday before the hotfix and maintenance went live.
So either the fix is still coming in an upcoming patch… Or they think that they fixed it and it’s definitely not fixed.
Did you claim multiple refinery jobs at the same time? Someone mentioned that there was an issue with doing that, so I’ve only ever been claiming them one at a time and I haven’t run into this yet.
Nope it was just one.
